22 September 2013

I hiked Beech Hill today. I also took the 3 p.m. boat to Monhegan. It was a rough ride—after a stormy morning, the seas remained high—but I made it safely, if queasy. Rather than take the time to list daily birds (given limited bandwidth and battery-charging opportunities so far offshore), I’ll simply post a photo a day, then list all birds seen after I return on 28 September.

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
