Quiet

Saturday, December 28th, 2019
Young buck, East Millcreek, Salt Lake City, Utah, 28 December 2019.
Young buck.

Aside from humans and dogs, this bright, nippy, late-Saturday-morning hike was a quiet one. Distant rush of traffic, a few faint calls of birds—that was about it.

(That is, aside from a healthy population of mule deer occupying the fringes.)

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
