Beech Hill List
Beginning at 8:15 a.m., I hiked the open trail.

Red-breasted Nuthatch, Rockport, Maine, 17 March 2019.
Red-breasted Nuthatch.

Another morning full of birdsong. Nippier than yesterday, but just as active—at the house anyway. The breezy hill had less activity. However it had some bluebirds.

The highlight of the dooryard birds: a random Red-breasted Nuthatch, visiting the same tree trunk occupied by a white-breast not a minute before.
