The Harbor

Buffleheads, Rockport Harbor, Maine, 10 February 2018.

Snowed again overnight. Slushy stuff this time. Meant to bring snowshoes, but the hike was not too bad. Several bird species on the hill, but I only saw a couple.

Mallards asleep, Rockport Harbor, Maine, 10 February 2018.

Mallards asleep.

Lately I’ve been swinging by the harbor to watch winter gulls and waterfowl. The Marine Park gets plowed, and I find the birds engaging. Every day seems different down there.

Probably swing by again tomorrow.
