Humid Spell

Saturday, July 1st, 2017
Chestnut-sided Warbler, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 30 June 2017.

Chestnut-sided Warbler

A period of intermittent rain and steady humidity is upon us. Also a period of wild birds feeding fledglings. Still. Including—possibly—the raven family. Saw and/or heard three or four in the lower Beech Hill feeds this morning.

Also saw and/or heard twenty-five other species on the hill today—and four more elsewhere.

Seems summer is in fact upon us.
