Eastern Bluebird, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 11 February 2018.

Eastern Bluebird.

A slushy walk up the hill this morning, thanks to a steady overnight drizzle. But the birds were out, albeit mostly hidden away in the winter woods. I did spy a pair of bluebirds, though—a little splash of color on a gray day.
