Grebe and Duck and Gull

Monday, March 12th, 2018
Horned Grebe, Rockland Breakwater, Rockland, Maine, 11 March 2018.

Horned Grebe (winter plumage).

No bird photos from Beech Hill this spring-like day, so then Jack and I took walked the Rockland Breakwater. Grebes, ducks, loons. Robins and cardinals at home. If it weren’t for the big snowstorm we’re supposed to get in a day or two, I’d think last night’s switch to Daylight Saving Time (stupid!) was not technically “winter forward.”
