Waxing Moon

Waxing Moon

It snowed a lot yesterday. Today, the sun exploded across a blinding landscape—blinding, at least for the first couple hours, until the thaw began. Several bird species came out to sing and caw, among them chickadees. In fact, I heard a trio singing "fee-bee" together, but each a half-step below the other.

This evening, thanks to Daylight Savings Time, the moon set later than usual.
